17th Century Night Watchman "Phillip Grey"
My first attempt at modelling a human character, this asset marks an important milestone in my 3D modelling journey. While the head lacks a certain level of detail, the wide brim of the hat and camera angle used in game made this a suitable asset for use in my final project. Multiple textures were created to show the player their current humoural alignment in game. Extensive research was conducted into the clothing and equipment of watchmen of the time to create an historically accurate asset. Created as part of “Eucrasia”, my Final Project for my Masters degree. Modelled in Maya, textured and rendered in Substance Painter.
